Hmmm, lamanya x update blog ni. Tq, readers for your kind words. Especially for origami rose post. Since it is the most popular post in my blog, so today i am gonna upload videos and link some website on how to do the origami rose.
Actually, the rose was folded by Toshikazu Kawasaki hence the rose was named Kawasaki rose. The method of folding the rose has been modified and simplified by time and persons make me confused which one was the original one. But that that not an important issue as either one of it, it is still beautiful as you fold it in your own way.
I learn how to fold the rose from a japanese website by following the steps which clearly shown by detail photographs. Thank to the author, but i hope it will be available in english: Oribara web Just click on the button at the top with yellow origami rose and no 1.

Advices: It is a very complex folding instructions and not for beginners. So if you are a beginner, do fold crane or lily first and proceed with the rose when you are ready to fold such a complex origami.

Hooray!!! The collection of my 7 colours contour glasses from mcd has come to an end. Every week eat mcd until cannot tahan already, everytime large meal. So no more mcd for me anymore for a long period of time. Hmm, notice 2 glasses with the same colour?
Tonight no electricity at my home & i decided to post on my latest project, actually my siblings project, we are working on a jigsaw puzzle. During last raya, my youngest sister bought this puzzle. I started to assemble them on last saturday & the progress is very rapid. But this is because there is a guide at the back of the puzzle. However the challenges still there & i enjoy it. Today is the 6th day of fasting and I am feeling great today. As i promise to a friend to make a tutorial or maybe a compilation of tutorials of how to make sonobe ball. It is the simplest modular origami that will turn paper to a cube or a ball and can be made in various combination.

The Sonobe module is a unit used to build modular origami, created by Mitsonobu Sonobe. Each individual unit is folded from a square sheet of paper, of which only one face is visible in the finished module; many ornamented variants of the plain Sonobe unit that expose both sides of the paper have been designed.

Although time fly by so quickly this month, i manage to fold this colourful boxes while watching tv couple of nights before. 7 boxes of 7 colours of the rainbow, aren't they look wonderful?
Dear readers, Hmm, this is my 1st attempt on lotus that i have seen on youtube. I did the 1st layer of the petals too near to the centre of the flower make the flower seem newly bloom. A friend of mine introduce to me a game called Plants vs Zombie. It is an interesting tower defense video game developed and published by PopCap Games.
Plants vs. Zombies sees players placing down different types of plants, each with their own unique offensive or defensive capabilities, across the front lawn, back lawn, and roof of a house in order to stop a horde of zombies from devouring the brains of the residents living inside.

I became addicted to it already because of the uniqueness of the game and the level of difficulty which keep increasing. Now i finished all the game but still want to achieve more in the endless game which have no end to it.

Firstly i want to thank Folding Trees because of your post on Readers’ Pics: Flowers contain photo of my Red Curler Units which feel such an honor to me. Do visit this site because it has links to other sites on art @ craft which most of it are easy to make.
Since many of you want to know how to fold this gorgeous ball, so this is a kind of tutorial or may be just a link to a tutorial since most of the tutorials have copyright on their site.
The first site which i want to recommend to u all is from British Origami Society which have detail diagrams on how to fold a unit and how to assemble the units together. But this site have many instructions with less pictures.
The second site that i want to suggest is Encaracolado which i don't know the meaning of the word itself. However it is not a barrier for me and perhaps u all because the pictures here tell a thousand words which u will understand what i mean, when u look at it.
This next blog that i found would very useful to all of us because it shows how to arrange the units in different numbers of units and shape that will make your units look different although the units is the same. Amazing isn't it!!! The pictures in this site also give u idea how to make a colourful Curler Units. U can click on this picture below to go to the site (which i cannot pronounce the words, hehehe):

Hi everybody, hmmm time pass by so fast and it's July already. I just came back from my holiday and being loaded with tonne of works with my name written on the minutes. Sigh... what a busy day and i still don't know how to finished all those works. However, when i browse my blog, the counter on my blog turn out to be 1000 already since february 2009 so congrate to me & to all of you for visiting my blog. Today i just wanna share on pictures of my long weekend project. Project no 1: Pink Kusudama Bowl. It just Kusudama bowl in pink with things in a bowl and a tsuru on it's edge: One more which i lazily done is 12 units (not 30 as usual) Leroy's Chrysanthemum. It should have 30 units and 5 petals to look like a Chrysanthemum flower but with 12 units this is what you get: Hmm people keep asking me about tutorial or instructions on how to fold things. Origami is technique to express form of something (for example, animal and plant and accessory...and so on) with papers. Kusudama origami is a thing which express an kusudama with origami papers.
So, this is a point. What is the kusudama?
Kusudama is one of the ornament made with some herbs or flowers(iris, Japanese iris, Citrus tachibana...etc). It means to prays for longevity and prays for a good health and prays for good luck(fortune), also it means a blessing for every thing...
The Japanese kusudama (薬玉; lit. medicine ball) is a paper model that is usually (although not always) created by sewing multiple identical pyramidal units (usually stylized flowers folded from square paper) together through their points to form a spherical shape. Alternately the individual components may be glued together.

Hi guys. Lama tak update blog ku ini. hmm dlm bln ni baru 1 kali, so tmbh la sekali lagi x la nmpk kosong sgt kan, hehehe. So nak cerita la sikit & menunjuk la gmbr2 kat sana. 1stly, korang mesti tertanya2 kenapa aku pergi smpi sarawak. Hmm, aku pi sbb meeting dgn org Thailand, meeting ni di panggil: Malaysia - Thailand Border Health Goodwill Committee Meeting. Well, meeting ni di buat antara 4 negeri Malaysia yg bersempadanan dengan Thailand. Kalau korang pandai brp negeri tu dan namakan negeri2 yg bersempadanan dgn thailand. Klu pandai sangat bagitau province thailand yg bersempadanan dgn negeri tu. hehehe (kejam betul soalan, saja nak bagi korang pikir sikit). Ni la banner kat hotel di Kuching tu: Pastu korang mesti tertanya2 plk: eh, kenapa buat kat Sarawak? X sempadan dgn Thailand pun? Hmmm, bagus soalan tu. Ni sebab tiap kali mesyuarat depa akan tentukan mana nak buat next meeting. eh lupa lak nak bagi tau yg meeting ni akan dibuat selang seli di antara 2 negara ni. So tahun lepas meeting ni di buat di Thailand iaitu Chiagrai. Masa di Chiangrai org Thailand kata next meeting (iaitu tahun ni) depa nak pi Sarawak, jadi negeri tuan rumah akan bertungkus lumus la walau mcmn pun utk buat di Sarawak juga. So mai la kami kat Sarawak tahun ni. Kemudian next meeting plk akan akan di buat di Thailand dan org Malaysia memilih untuk dibuat di Pulau Krabi. So bertungkus lumus la depa tahun depan. Selingan sikit, ni bukan org thai, ni org Sarawak, kaum apa ntah aku dah lupa: Pastu korang mesti tertanya plk, mcmn la aku ni blh pi ke meeting yg international ni. Pangkat baru sikit ja. Jawapannya selepas gambar ini, hehehe jgn marah: Sebenarnya bos aku x mau pi sbb kena menari. So aku x nak la komen lbh2 sbb sat gi dia baca blog aku terus kena "u are fried" hehehe. So aku pi la dgn 7 org dari kedah kena pi sana sbb kena menari (ada la kerja lain tp main thing sbb aku kena pi adalah kena menari tu la). Jadi pi la kami menari lagu Ayam Didik 3 minit depan org Thailand, makan dan jalan2 tu ja lah. Hehehe penat 4 tahun mengaji farmasi. Kalau ada masa nanti aku upload video tarian tu, sbb video tu dlm camera one of my colleague. Ckp pasal jln2, last day kami pi bawa org thailand ni pi Cultural Village. So kebanyakan aku ambik gmbr kat situ, ni gmbr2 nya.

My friend suddenly called me last thursday to his room & i thought he wanna ask something about work. But i was shock because he ask me how to fold an origami sunflower. He ask me because the instructions in a website are confusing. The sunflower turn out not good at all. At home i fold it with using couple types of paper & it must use a light paper (as thick paper will easily torn). So i use a paper that i bought from kinokuniya & this is the result (after 4 paper is wasted just like that). Hope can fold it better.
Wow, i cannot believe this. Can u all see how beautiful this curler units in red, it seem like a ball of red roses, it is so pretty i cannot believe i folded it & giving it away to other people. Anyway, u give the best to others & that's me. Anyhow i hope i can fold better than this next time & keep upgrading my skill in paperfolding ;-) wish me luck & Adiosa.
Here is the finished Kusudama venus which turn out very nice & better than the first venus that i made few months ago. The secret is to tie the ring of 10 units tightly which i did not do for the 1st venus. Well, that what they say: practice make perfect. Next project is curler units. So stay tune (mcm dj la plk, Hehe).
Today i'm having day off coz i think i deserve it after days of hard work. Today i resume my work on this colourful Kusudama venus which being ordered by someone. Actually i have done the sewing part but the result is not neat. So today i resew it again to make it neat & this is the finished product, 4 colourful ring. Wonderful isn't it?
Assalamualaikum to all readers. Hmm, its being a hectic life for me this weekend because i'm like a wanted person in my office. Everywhere i go, when people see me they will call me, sometimes 5 people at the same time which gave me hyperheadache (well there's no such word but sort of, hehehe). I just came back from Langkawi, then my boss said that i must drop by at the office because they need me. Then today, they keep calling me whenever they see me (even in the toilet). That's making me very tired. Opps, by the way back to the title & picture above, it is my latest project, Kusudama Bowl. It is kind of Kusudama Ball but instead of it become sphere i glued the unit so that it has an opening & become a bowl. Seem to me it turned out very nicely although it is being fold only by using plain white paper. Actually it being folded way back last month while a course in Langkawi that i had to attend. It is being presented to my helper in that course, thank you for your help. i appreciate it so much. I'm thinking of commercialize the bowl. Anyone interested of having it with a price?

Si isteri tersenyum dan berpuas hati dengan penerangan suaminya tadi. Namun begitu selang beberapa hari si isteri mengalami kemalangan dan koma.
Si suami amat bersedih dan menulis sepucuk surat kepada isterinya yang disayangi. Surat itu diletakkan di sebelah katil isterinya di hospital. Surat tersebut berbunyi begini :
"Sayang!Jika disebabkan suara aku mencintai mu... sekarang bolehkah engkau bersuara? Tidak! Oleh itu aku tidak boleh mencintai mu. Jika disebabkan kasih sayang dan ingatan aku mencintai mu...sekarang bolehkah engkau menunjukkannya? Tidak! Hari ni adalah hari ketiga aku kat Langkawi, menjalankan Kursus Penyelenggaraan Laman Web Berasaskan Xoops. Walaupun aku dah expert (Hehehe, actually x sangat pun) aku mai jg sbb x nak update laman web pejabat aku: http://farmasikdh.moh.gov.my. Hari tu ada surat kata laman web tidak update. Bila mai sini rupanya ada byk yg aku x tau lg. rss lah, dhlm dll so mcm berguna jg lah mai kali ni sbb pada mulanya aku x mau mai. so thank god. x byk gmbr yg blh di share, ni gmbr aku dgn kak selmah merangkap mak angkat aku. I finished assemble this gorgeous ball last night while watching tv, american idol 8 to be specific, where Megan was eliminated. Anyway, back to the ball, if u look at it closely u will notice it is not in perfect sphere. Hmm, dont know how to fix that. Well, this is my first venus, may be next time it'll turn out perfectly. Hi everybody, i just came back from kl for a meeting & i took the opportunity to go to kinokuniya klcc to browse for any latest book on origami, however i've seen most of them. Anyway, my 2nd objective is rare origami paper. In this picture u can see double sided coloured paper. U cannot find it here, so it is imported from japan. It's for my latest weekend project Kusudama venus which will look better with 2 sided coloured paper & it's in my fav colour :-) it's a bit difficult coz it involve thread, needle & more unit. Baru baru ni, ntah terasa teringin sangat nak melipat kertas (Ada ka penyakit mcm ni, hehehe) Aku pun melipat dengan tekunnya sesuatu, ianya dipanggil Business Card Menger Sponge. Aku x dak la lipat dgn Business Card, aku lipat dengan kertas kecil yg aku dpt free dr Double A. Actually senang gila nak lipat 1 unit, tp bila 1 kiub kecil kena pakai dlm 10 keping kertas so kira la sendiri berapa keping kertas kena pakai. Mmg agak addictive, yg aku buat ni adalah level 1 Menger Sponge. Cuba korang pegi kat link ni Menger sponge dan korang akan rasa amaze sgt sbb ada oprang sanggup buat sampai level 4 Menger Sponge. Ni gambar menger sponge aku: Lepas tu aku jumpa 2 website yang sangat menarik untuk dishare dgn korang yg suka papercraft mcm aku. 1st website ni korang boleh download pdf file & print dan cantumkan untuk menjadi cube dan bentuk2 lain. Daripada kad hari ibu, kapal terbang, boomerang, kad pop up, teddy bear, model rumah & bangunan2 terkenal mcm taj mahal dll. Website nih korang wajib tgk sebab sangat sangat menarik. Buat korang yang x tahu lagi 5 Februari lepas Pokok Sena dah dinaiktaraf dan diisytiharkan sebagai Daerah Ke-12 Di negeri Kedah ni so dia dah x duduk bawah daerah Kota Star lg. Kalau x percaya, ni berita di petik daripada Bernama:
POKOK SENA, 5 Feb (Bernama) -- Sultan Kedah Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah hari ini mengiystiharkan daerah kecil Pokok Sena dinaik taraf sebagai daerah penuh sempena sambutan ulang tahun ke-81 Hari Keputeraan baginda baru-baru ini.
"Pokok Sena akan dimajukan supaya penduduk dapat menikmati kemudahan infrastruktur sepenuhnya dan taraf kesejahteraan rakyat di sini setanding dengan penduduk di daerah lain," kata Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak pada majlis pengisytiharan daerah Pokok Sena dan perasmian Kompleks Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah oleh baginda di sini hari ini.
Dengan pengisytiharan itu, Kedah secara rasminya kini mempunyai 12 daerah. Daerah sedia ada ialah Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Padang Terap, Pendang, Yan, Sik, Kuala Muda, Baling, Kulim, Bandar Baharu dan Langkawi.
Azizan berkata langkah itu akan memudahkan urusan pentadbiran serta penyusunan rancangan pembangunan di Pokok Sena yang sebelum ini kebanyakannya dikendalikan oleh Pejabat Daerah Kota Setar dan Majlis Bandaraya Alor Setar.
Beliau turut mengumumkan sebuah bandar baru diberi nama Bandar Tunku Puteri di tanah milik kerajaan di Gajah Mati di sini akan dibangunkan sebagai pusat pentadbiran daerah baru itu.
Daerah Pokok Sena terbahagi kepada enam mukim iaitu Gajah Mati, Jabi, Tualang, Lesong, Bukit Lada dan Derang, dan mengandungi 122 kampung serta 21 taman perumahan dengan jumlah penduduk seramai 50,000 orang.
Hmmm, memang besar pun Pokok Sena ni sampai kdg2 org tanya aku kg kat Pokok Sena ni pun aku x tau. Hehehe. Ha, lagi satu hampa tau ka Pokok Sena tu rupa dia mcmmn?

Pokok Sena (Narra) merupakan pokok kebangsaan bagi Filipina, dan juga pokok daerah Chonburi dan daerah Bukit(Phuket ) yang dahulunya taklok negeri Kedah kini di jajah Thailand tau. So jgn main2. Hehehehe.
Selalu orang kampung mengganggap pokok ini adalah singahan hantu-hantu. Sekiranya pokok ini bersaiz besar. Tapi anda mungkin anda tidak tahu rahsia pokok ini. Apabila pokok ini ditoreh kulitnya, ia akan mengeluarkan getah yang bewarna merah-kemerahan. Kegunaanya sebagai ubat untuk memulihkan keadaan bibir yang pecah-pecah. Selain itu dahan-dahan pokok sena yang sesuai, orang-orang dulu buat sebagai kayu pagar... ikut kata 1 blog la.
Hi guys, i'm back with my origami post. This gorgeous pic is hard to take & i made it. Actually, it's being called lightning bolt coz there should be white lightning stripes on it but with a little bit of twist, i manage to hide the hidios stripe & put coloured side of the paper outside. Pretty cool, huh B-)
Hmm, sekarang nak cerita pasal naik Bukit Larut, Perak.
Korang cuba bayangkan korang naik roller coaster sejauh 10 km, x dak seatbelt!!! Itulah yang aku rasa masa naik land rover dari kaki bukit ke tempat peranginan Bukit Larut. I didn't expect that, so i x prepare any anti motion sickness drug so i did throw up, during going up and down. Huh rasa macam dunia ni berpusing laju gila, driver tu bawa mcm nak terbang aku dgn kawan aku. Hehe.
Tapi berbaloi juga sebab dapat tgk bunga tulip yang cantik. Walaupun ada la 2 baris pasu ja, x mcm holland & tempat lain, dapat tgk secara live pun jadilah...
