Time to share...

Hmm, skrg ni tgh gila buat jigsaw puzzle yang agak besar, lukisan dari Peter Motz yang di bagi nama: Time to share, 1518 jigsaw pieces. Puzzle ni ukuran dia memanjang sikit, dan aku tak pernah buat lagi jigsaw panjang macam ni. Gambar asal lukisan tu:

cantikkan kalau letak dalam frame, pastu gantung kat atas kepala katil, cantik gila...

Peter Motz ni hidup lagi kot, orang Belanda. Dia punya biografi:

Peter Motz, Dutch (1934 - )

Peter Motz was born in Rotterdam in 1934. At an early age he was fascinated by the color compositions of nature's magic. Through the years he developed his own unique style and technique as a self-taught artist.

Since 1962, he has become seriously involved in painting and gave up his profession to pursue his creative talents full-time.

Each landscape, flower or garden scene Peter Motz paints expresses his love for beauty with a tender delicacy, softness and reality. His work is of an exceptional class. It recollects to a combination of the The Hague and the Larense School, maintaining, however, its own character.

Gambar masa mula - mula buat jigsaw ni, 21 Mac 2011

Gila banyak pieces betul

Lagipun border jigsaw ni colour putih, susah o...

Progress hari ni, dah banyak dapat dipadankan, tapi semalam aku padankan jigsaw tu sampai sakit kepala, arghh..... gila susah... bila nak siap ni, dah sebulan lebih buat x siap siap lagi...
perasan tak banyak lagi pieces yang tak dipadankan walaupun mostly banyak yang dah siap. Hmmm, sampai stage ni, makin mencabar la jigsaw ni sebab nak padankan warna yang paling banyak iaitu hijau dan putih, bayangkan warna putih kat tepi tu macammana nak padankan, kena tengok shape dan try & error la

Anyway hari mungkin nak pi jalan - jalan, so mungkin tak dapat buat. tak pa ada 2 hari lagi. Hari ahad cuti, Hari Pekerja.

So nak ucap Selamat Hari Pekerja dan selamat bercuti.

Wish me luck, nanti bila dah siap jigsaw tu. wajib la akan di publishkan.

till next time...

xoxo...

Thousand origami cranes

An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. The crane in Japan is one of the mystical or holy creatures (others include the dragon and the tortoise), and is said to live for a thousand years. In Japan, it is commonly said that folding 1000 paper origami cranes makes a person's wish come true.

The Thousand Origami Cranes has become a symbol of world peace through the story of Sadako Sasaki, a Japanese girl who tried to stave off her death from leukemia as a result of radiation from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima during World War II by making one thousand origami cranes, having folded only 644 before her death, and that her friends completed and buried them all with her. (This is only one version of the story. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum states that she did, in fact, complete the 1,000 cranes.)

The earthquake and tsunami in Japan recently make many people fold the crane to donate and wish Japan quick recovery and hope that their wish come true. i participated in one of the crane folding activity in Penang and hope for Japan recovery too. With Allah will, InsyaAllah it will come true.

Here is an aid for you if you wish to fold it. There are a lot of variation but i think this is the simplest one.

A video:

Happy folding...
